King Crab Puff

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ - 2 cups of Orca Bay King Crab Meat
  • 1 cup diced potato (about ½ inch cubes)
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • ½ cup frozen corn
  • ½ cup frozen peas
  • 1/3 cup of diced carrot (about ½ inch cube)
  • ½ cup of chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • Black pepper
  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry dough

Instructions

  1. In a medium skillet, melt butter to cook the potatoes, carrots and onion for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Stir in corn and peas. Mix corn starch to chicken broth and add to vegetables.
  3. Add crab meat and season with salt and pepper.
  4. In a pie shell or any pan with a rim, place one sheet of puff pastry and pour in vegetable/crab mixture. Cover with a second sheet and bake it at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes (until golden brown).
