Position Title:  RETAIL SALES MANAGER

Job Summary:  Under minimal supervision, sells Orca Bay products to supermarket/grocery store chains and major retail warehouses in assigned region.

Essential Functions:

  • Meet & exceed company sales growth and margin objectives by promoting and selling company products (Branded/Private Label & Commodity/Value Added) through grocery/mass merchandise retailers, wholesalers and distributors.  Provides customers with price quotations and information regarding delivery and service.
  • Sells commodity items on a weekly basis through direct customer contacts.
  • Evaluates and identifies “account specific” new product opportunities.
  • Maintains weekly contact with warehouse and distributor buyers.
  • Monitors customer sales and procedures to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Develops and manages “account specific” quarterly programs to increase sales in territory and meet profitability objectives; targeting existing accounts and new accounts (thru cold calls)..

Minimum Requirements

Education:  AA degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:  Minimum of one year national retail grocery chain sales experience.  Seafood knowledge a plus.

Knowledge and Skills:  Intermediate level proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Position Title:   MAINTENANCE MECHANIC - Swingshift 1:30pm-12am Monday-Thursday .

Job Summary:  Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on facility and manufacturing equipment in processing plant with frozen cold storage warehouse.

Orca Bay is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic for its processing plant. This is a graveyard position. We are seeking a dependable Mechanic with electrical and mechanical skills to service & repair plant packaging & processing equipment.  Someone who would be able to work independently.

Examples of equipment are: Graders, batchers, vacuum packers, and price labeling equipment etc. Work is to perform preventative & repair  on-site.  Some computer skills are also required.

Graveyard shift is from 8:00PM to 6AM Monday-Thursday. Base pay starts at $18.00 +; depending on skills and experience. Hours could change anytime to 9PM to 5:30AM Monday thru Friday depending on work load.

Minimum Requirements

Education:  High school diploma or equivalent. 

Experience:  5 years maintenance, food processing equipment experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:  Position requires high level ability to troubleshoot and resolve food processing equipment and systems breakdowns. Good understanding of HVAC and ammonia refrigeration systems operation.  Electrical, X Ray Equipment, Bag sealing equipment, band saw knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot PLC’s a plus.  Requires organizational and communication skills,  high level of accuracy, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast paced work environment.  Requires professional demeanor for interaction with numerous internal and external contacts.  Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook a plus.  Ability to follow all GMP and Safety rules and policies.

Working Conditions:  Position holder works in both food processing environment with elevated noise levels requiring hearing protection, and typical office environment with moderate noise levels. Ambient temperature in food processing area averages 55°F.  Must be able to meet multiple and competing project deadlines in a fast paced work environment with numerous interruptions. This position requires frequent extended hours due to seasonal business demands. 

Physical Requirements:  Normal hearing, good speaking voice and clear enunciation. Requires occasional bending and twisting to perform equipment repairs.  Must be able to push, lift, and/or carry 50 lbs.  Repair work occasionally requires fine manipulation skills.

Job Summary: Support of Microsoft Access applications and Dynamics Navision ERP functionality.  Development of additional database tools and implementation of future CRM and BI applications

  • Building custom User Interfaces to support reporting, analysis, and input functions.
  • Serving as a technical resource to others to supplement their knowledge of Access database tools as well as MS Dynamics NAV.
  • SQL Server, MS Office, and Windows level one support.
  • Project management of the implementation of future software applications.
  • Responding quickly to changing industry information demands.
  • Working closely with all functional areas of the company to take advantage of the information in the database.
  • Improving tools to monitor data integrity.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • You must be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experienced in project managing complex Information Technology / Information System projects from beginning to end.

Job Summary: Operate a stand up forklift picking orders. Relocating and consolidating inboudn freight.

Essential Functions:

  •     Order Selection.
    • Build orders as directed by the RF picking system.
    • Survey all orders for damaged boxes and re-box as needed.  While noting all inventory discrepancies.
    • Count orders to determine correct case counts.
    • Build and wrap orders in a way that will maintain product integrity through the distribution process.
    • Stage finished orders so that space in the staging area is used efficiently.
    • Be able to use RF unit for shipping and receiving
    • Consolidating product with in the racks to maximize space
    • Relocating inbound product
    • Have sufficient product knowledge to insure accurate inbound and outbound orders

 

 

Secondary Responsibilities, Duties:

  • Provide additional support as requested by Warehouse Manager as needed in response to weekly volume fluctuations.

 

The duties noted above are specific to this position but are not limited to only these functions.  Daily assignments are determined by supervision taking into account the specific workload.

 

Minimum Requirements

Education:  High school diploma or equivalent. 

Experience:  Minimum two years increasingly responsible warehouse experience.

Knowledge and Skills:  Basic PC and keyboarding skills. Requires excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and ability to effectively prioritize tasks and supervise staff in a fast paced work environment.  Requires professional demeanor for constant interaction with numerous internal and external contacts.  Requires current forklift certification and ability to operate standup forklift. And battery operated pallet jack.

 

Working Conditions:  Typical warehouse environment with some exposure to outside weather conditions. Position involves exposure to freezing, non-weather conditions in product cold storage.  Must be able to meet multiple and competing deadlines in a fast paced work environment with numerous interruptions.  This position requires frequent extended hours due to seasonal business demands.
